For our client in Eemshaven we're currently looking for one shovel operator. Our client is a leading supplier of building materials for ground, road, water and concrete construction.
As an operator you are responsible for operating the shovel in Thermal Cleaner, our client's high-tech installation. You will be working with a friendly team where there are 5 shifts in total. Together with a team of 3-5 people you are responsible for keeping the Thermal Cleaner running continuously. The main duties of a shovel driver are as follows:
1. Loading of the soil remediation installation
2. Operating the equipment
3. Carrying out cleaning, repair and maintenance work
4. Perform all other occuring activities
Your working attitude matters to us! For this friendly team we're looking for someone who is independent but also a team player.
Requirements
- Work experience as a crane or shovel operator
- English or German language, at least intermediate level
- Driver's license
- VCA certificate (is an advantage)
- Shovel / crane certificate (If you have a lot of experience but do not have the certificate, we can discuss)
- Sense of responsibility and maintain the materials that you work with as if they're your own
